Now you can drop by and relax as you sip our signature café mocha -- a rich hot chocolate with a shot of espresso – or nibble on one of our unsurpassed brownies.

What now makes Essential Chocolate Desserts different is that we are not exclusively a bakery nor are we a coffeehouse. We consider ourselves as a dessert company committed to satisfying the taste buds of the traditional chocoholic as well as the eclectic foodie, whether we serve you from behind our retail counter or indirectly when you buy our goods in your neighborhood coffeehouse.

As we have for years, Essential Chocolate Desserts provides handmade desserts, muffins and specialty baked goods to cafes and restaurants throughout Los Angeles. Our wholesale customers include The Abbey, Alcove, Aroma, Sunset Marquis and Pit Fire Pizza.

Now, at our bakery and retail café, in addition to the delicious homemade baked goods and desserts we produce right onsite and the drinks available at the counter, we also carry select other items to meet the discriminating palettes of our customers, including:

v      L’Artisan du Chocolat by the piece, as well as by the box

v      Melfer’s Macaroons, a unique gourmet chocolate macaroon that comes in Original Chocolate as well as a specialty flavor of the month (Macaroon Club)
